Recently news came out that the FG/Army was releasing some former Biko Haram fighters in the society.

As will be expected, rightly so, not many people hid their displeasure about the news. And if you're like me, I thought it was rather a wrong step and initiative considering how they've killed our armed forces and countless civilians.

But a Twitter user with the handle @ChiefOjukwu shed some insight into the release process, which I feel many people are unaware of.

How can the government guarantee the ex-terrorist won't become a double agent or go back?

trash. Will All This Nonsense Bring Back The Lives Of The Soldier Who This Same Released Foot Soldiers Of Boko Hara Killed? Will It Heal The Wound In The Hearts Of The Widows Of The Soldiers? What About The Civilian Widows And Those Rendered Orphans, Fatherless, And Childless? My Anger Is Not That Those Beasts are Released; Because I Understand That Base On Religious And Ethnic Affinity, They Will Be Unleashed Back To The Society. My Annoyance Is That Our Brothers SS, SW And SE Are Always Used To Defend All These Attrocrties. Why? Majoritiy Of These Widows And Orphans Are From South. Its A Slap On The Faces Of The Dead Irrespective Of Religion, Region And Ethnicity. How Are They Sure These Beasts Will Not Carry Arms Again. Why Wouldnt The They Use Those Animals To Negotiate The Release/Swap Of That Innocent Christian Girl And Rehablitate Her? Naija I Tireooooo

I Know my country well. No functional database. Don't be surprised when you see these repentant BH boys later enter the army and police. How sure are we those guys are not used as infiltrators to the system?
