They swore that there would not b peace in katsina, when I was in katsina I was told the killers are strictly after the Hausa people not corpers or any visitors in the state, they say Hausas steal their cows and when they report the govt does nothing and they start robbing hausas until hausa yansakai started killing Fulanis caught without taking them to station, so that was how the Fulani increased their crime and started genocidal attacks on hausa villages, I was aware when it was all happening. I was aware of a Fulani man leading his cattle passed a village and he was shot to death just like that by an hausa man in the village, this necessitated reprisal attack in which 33 persons were killed in the village in dandume l.g, i remember when katsina people were all going to zamfara to take jax powers early 2019, i knew there will b problem at the end, the whole situation escalated in katsina during and immediately after we conducted 2019 elections, I had to sleep outside kankara l.g inec office due to insecurity those cold nights, it has been getting worse but b4 I was done with my service there, my l.g govt was calm but am not so sure how it is now, May all corps members there be protected until they end their service. May none of them be caught up in the Hausa vs Fulani fight. I thank the spirits of kings that guarded and guided me throughout my stay there despite my silly stubborn act of not moving from a troubled village when nysc had asked us to move. May it be well with katsina, I like it like it is my own place, both hausas and Fulanis were all kind to me when I was there. Allah protect our 57 year old country

There should be zero tolerance to the activities of robbers and kidnappers but this story doesn't add up. You arrested them without a shot being fired and you took all of them to the forest to retrieve two rifles and then the battle began where all the suspects were killed. This sounds like a very bad NOLLYWOOD script. Sounds more like executions. If they guys are bad niggers then its deserving but learn to fine tune backup stories please.

If the story is investigated, the police may not come out clean.

I don't support crime; if criminals are armed with fire arms, match them up with superior fire.

However, this one looks like they take us for babies.

Were the criminals not handcuffed after arrest? If they were not, why? If they were, how were they able to ambush the police in their incapacitated position? How many were arrested, how many ambushed the police, how many were killed? If the suspects earlier arrested were only ones killed and none others were killed, how do we then believe it wasn't a case of extra judicial killing? How are we sure the police didn't implicate those killed to get rid of something fishy? Are the police now the court to 'decisively' deal with suspected criminals?

I think the police have to tell us more to make their story credible.

Sincerely , it bits my imagination that with all that have been happening lately , the NPF could still be this unprofessional and Naive to have carried all criminal suspect to investigation ground rather than going along with one or at most 2 of them. What was they expecting to experience a worn handshake from other members of their gang? If it were to be in a sane society those police officer scampering to have a photo shot with the dead would have been preparing seriously to convince the court that what they did was not an extra judicial killing . have it not cross ones mind that if not all of the dead at least one of them could be innocent after all?. The NPF is constantly exhibiting themselves as a group of people without value for human lives whom are saddled with the authority to take life at will. i advocate that these people (NPF) be sincerely checkmated.
