Re: edit by Blazay(m): 9:39pm On Dec 17, 2010
Ask GEJ or ATK. wink

Or you can ask OBJ or NRD(Nuhu Ribadu) wink

These are successful old-timers in the game. . . erm, except GEJ of course, who only lasted 2 years at the customs. cheesy
Re: edit by safariman(m): 9:47pm On Dec 17, 2010
Carry yourself go, buy uniform put any rank, buy AK-47, no need for Ikejan Police training and stand by the express de collect your N20.

i would love to join some kinda force in nigeria for my protection. one of my family friends went into NDA in nigeria when he was a kid. now he is a brigadier general in the army and he is very young. when i went to nigeria to visit some time ago, i rolled with him. anytime we got to checkpoints when he produced his army credentials all the policemen saluted and some even prostrated for him  grin when he goes through customs they just salute him and wave him through. this is the kind of treatment i demand when i am in naija. i refuse to be a victim to checkpoint harrasment

Carry yourself go, buy uniform put any rank you want, buy AK-47, no need for Ikeja Police training, buy torchlight, find wood with nails sticking out and then find a nice spot/checkpoint on the Lagos-Benin express de collect your N20.

Just land first, if you are well loaded we can arrange two hefty MOPOL to be guarding you with an AK 47 wherever you go, even watching you while you service the babes, lol.
Everyone will keep off and hail you as 'charmann!'

I think police recruitment is done periodically, according to need. And you will need to know somebody to get in, or grease some palms as I heard. (I dont wanna get arrested online)
Re: edit by safariman(m): 10:06pm On Dec 17, 2010
@buzugee
You can try walking in, I guess you haven't seen the pictures of applicants looking for jobs all packed at stadiums, looked like a football match

get arrested online ? grin stop playing. seriously though, so i gotta grease some palms ? that can be arranged. i will love to be a policeman in nigeria though. that would seriously be something i would love to do. not for the money. just for the fun of it. i shall look into it

Naa, nobody can pack themselves in any stadium to secure a chance to be shot at by robbers for less than 200 dollars monthly.

cuz i want to find out how easy it is to do it on my own. i dont want to owe anyone favors. you know how it is ? someone helps you out, then you owe them a favor. you are obligated to them.i hate that feeling. i like to approach people on an even playing field and not one of subservience because i owe them a favor.

Re: edit by buzugee(m): 10:20pm On Dec 17, 2010
plus i reckon if i join, i will not use police issued gun. i will buy tech nine or an uzi from the states. this will be what i will use. i will also buy a bullet proof jacket. i quite fancy the challenge of being a badazz cop in my own country
Re: edit by temmytanny(m): 10:24pm On Dec 17, 2010

grin i am not joining the force in nigeria because i need the money. this is for when i want to return to nigeria permanently. i would have bought my house in nigeria and have money in the bank in england to sustain me. this will be a new adventure for me. being in the position of the predator and not the prey. not saying i will prey on anyone when i join the force but it will be refreshing knowing i can kick anyones butt if they messed up and they cant do anything about it. ya dig ?
Re: edit by temmytanny(m): 10:48pm On Dec 17, 2010
sorry about my reply but i stil dont think its ideal to join them cos they wont treat you fine (not money wise oo)even if you come for MARS.our system is corrupt and only you cant repair it
