The candidate arrived from Italy on 25th. He sat with people in the plane for close to 6 hours Probably used washroom in the aircraft. Talked to people at arrival hall, met immigration officials that are always "welcoming/begging arms" at the gate. Talked with customs officials who want gifts, boarded taxi or picked up by local driver. Got to his place of residence or hotel, maybe has a maid or service staff. All these hsppened on 25th. We wont know his movement on 26th and early hours of 27th. Who do you blame
Our government that have been lackadaisical about this disease. Other countries screen people on arrival, especially from infected countries and anyone showimg sign of fever or high temperature is isolated and tested. But here we are. I imagine how many people already have it now. All his contacts, their contacts, families, the list goes on and on. The results will start manifesting in a month or 3 weeks from now.
Truly, APC is a monumental disaster.

Just say APC invented Coronavirus so that your day will be complete.

Have you read the statement of Lagos State Ministry of Health?

And if he wasn't monitored, how would they have track him? Don't be talking trash. All those infected in other countries, like the US, who do you blame?

one cynical and fettish things about Nigerians is that those that came in direct contact with the man will prefer to run and hide from government medical facilities because they fear stigmatization and so doing make it difficult to curb the menace, because this people are fleeing instead of seeking quarantine observations for their own health status and the betterment and safety of Nigeria as a whole

Oga 15 infected in US were isolated on arrival. The 42 infected in the cruise ship were also isolated for treatment. Same applicable in Canada. Mind you, these were far back in January. Now every entry point have screening facilities. In Nigeria, the man only reported in hospital before he was confirmed. If he had remained at home, noone, I repeat noone would have detected ut.

Is it that you're willingly doing this or you lack info. People are complaining that there are no proper measures put in place at our ports.
Even the screening is selective.
The point is why can't we also set up isolation centres at our ports for those coming from the affected areas to know if they're positive/negative instead of the selective screening going on.
