OP, you don't generalise based on what happens here. Nairaland IS NOT EQUAL TO Nigeria!

For peace of mind, I deal with mainstream exchangers such as InstantGold. I also do business with LadyF once in a while when I have Bitcoin to sell. I don't think I have ever had issues with standard, registered exchangers.

I think the problem is that some people prefer the tempting rates that traders here sometimes offer.
