As part of effort to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus disease. The government of Akwa ibom state, under the leadership of Governor, Gabriel Udom Emmanuel, has set up a well equipped isolation center to treat anybody who contract the disease.

Although, there is no confirmed case of anyone who have contracted the disease in the state, the isolation was set up to tackle the disease should anyone contract the virus.

The sate will as a matter of urgency short, markets, churches, mosques and all other public gathering in few days as part of the measure to tackle the virus.

Very impressive.

I do not think we should wait until the last minute when korokorovirus hit before we get a place like this for very sick patients.

From projection and learning from other so called Developed countries, all equipment can not be concentrated in a few locations.

Equipment can still be spread from level one to three. Level three reserved for most serious cases. Level one for less so.

Each would still be better than open space and floors we now see in Italy and Spain. Luckily, we have great brains in each of our states that can prioritize PPE, Personal Protective Equipment for Health Workers first. If we do not save them, they cannot save us.
