Please go to the hospital and seek medical care. You have to undergo some investigations before treatment commences
Those investigations are not carried out on nairaland.

Go to the pharmacy, they should prescribe septrim or any antibiotics and some anti malaria stuff. You can lick any Vitamin C laden menthol for smoothing relief

Squeeze lime into warm water...drink for 3 days...then take the strepsils u will be fine

Treat malaria,and take diclofenac to ease the sorethroat.. Stop all those licki licki ,they won't help u

My brother am having exactly the same symptom you just stated out here... To swallow saliva na problem. All the antimalaria drugs have been taking is not working like I can still feel a little feverish and headache but the sore is really disturbing..
