It is not a lie. You can indeed go to any food bank and get some food free of charge. Perhaps they now do home deliveries due to the lockdown but the food bank is absolutely real.

Stop listening to those abroad!.
They are facing life threatening issues now.
let's build Nigeria once and for all.
Some have hatred in their blood.Ask them simple thing-have you paid your tax up to date? mba,for what ?.Can you do that in America,Canada or even in Philippines-where drug cartel is booming?
The citizens must be responsible first, irrespective of good or bad government in power. Then we can demand more from them. However,Nigerians are apprehensive of those in power as looters.
God Bless Nigeria.

Well, Tell me about the Jacket being Fancy when the -24 hits you in the Winter. And Like I said, Some food banks around GTA do have Clothes too. I know the Difference btw the Food banks and the Clothes Bank. I don’t eat all those type of Food either, Lots of African Markets around so

And I made Mention of the Clothings in General ni,not sticking to whether the topic was about food or clothing in Response to the dude that Stated the Debate or Argument de ni
Some walmarts parka actually hold up in -24 weather and below, and you could also buy a fancy jacket from a high street retailer and it won't retain heat. But of course, if one can luck out on a parka for cheap at say value-village, then it's a better cost saving option than buying a brand-new Chinese manufactured brand new Canada Goose or Canadian tire Outfitters.

If you want to get fat unnecessarily, then go collect food from food bank. Of course the foods will be free, but it's an humiliating food, and processed junk. The fact that he parades with something like this baffles me. I am not seeing beef, salmon, vegetables and things that nourish the soul here. Food bank is something you collect codedly because it's a thing that is looked down upon and for the poorest of the poor, and the homeless.

True. I am suprised he was showing off foodbank supplies. It is not government donation, and was the video to spite Nigerians that don't have access to foodbank? Baba should just take his food inside and be grateful to God because the foodbank do run low at times on food sef.

Yea, the thing about the Value Village Stock is some ppl already bitterly used most of the Jackets Lol, except one is Ready to Pay out hundreds of $$ then you can get a new one and at times with low Quality or that can’t hold the weather at those expensive stores, too many Chinese stuff out there

Just read below

After Covid 19, Nigerians pls let's demand for 70% cut from salaries & allowances of president, govs, senates, reps, ministers, commissioners & any politically elected personal earning above N500,000 per month as salary. Our resources is meant for the citizens, not ruling people.
We shall election those willing to serve not those going to Abuja or any public offices cos of their huge pay.
Our country is one of the countries that their president, govs, senates, reps, etc earn highest in the world yet Nigeria can't give her citizens a reasonable Covid-19 stay at home relief materials. Just take a look at the link attached to this post & see what Alimosho local Govt of Lagos State shared as relief items to a whole community.
Look at the buildings of our hospitals, staff (no of doctors, nurses & medical personnel) in health sector compared to Nigeria's population. They said we v close to 60,000 doctors and 300,000 nurses caring for over 200million people. That's a ratio of one doctor for over 300,000 people & a nurse for over 600,000 people. And we are battling a pandemic.

What about the strength of our military, police & other forces?
What about education? How much is the FG budget for education? See how we find it difficult to v more qualified nurses & doctors. This is lacking in other professions from teaching to accounting & commerce, entertainment, sports and so on.
What of agriculture? A country that can't feed itself. Our govt said Nigeria now produces rice but this rice hasn't been going round in the markets. A bag of rice is presently N24,000 @ an all time high. Beans, garri, yam & other food items are costly. Yet some people that were elected politically are earning over 1000 times what a professor of university that studied hard, made researches to better Nigeria is earning. What kind of bill is a senator, reps passing that warrants them earning N16million & N12million per month?

Look at our security. Recently Chadian soldiers led by their president routed some Boko Haram terrorists & rescued captured Nigerian soldiers. I feel like crying.
Chad that doesn't v the resources of Nigeria teaching us how to fight Terrorists. And we v been battling Boko Haram since 2009. For how long ll we do the battle? Our soldiers are complaining of not having right weapons to fight terrorism but we keep hearing big amount of money given to the ministry of defense.

How long will we continue to suffer.
When 2023 election comes, are these people worth voting for?
Coronavirus hunger is knocking at the door. What ll our govt do to help her citizens in this lockdown?

No Worries Bro. I guess the initial post about the dude with the stuff at his Door claiming from the Govt isn’t smooth, maybe he is Trying to throw it at Nigerians Face, but I am yet to witness where the Govt will drop food off at your door step when the country isn’t in total lockdown like Italy. I mean, ppl still go to the stores to get groceries. With that said, The wannabe rich dude who vowed to feed someone’s family for a whole year should know better if at all he knows anything. I only wonder what he has done for ppl in his neighborhood let alone condemning others, maybe I understood it wrongly too
Yes I do not understand the post too. It seems strange. If it was the Canadian government that was dropping off the food, I would understand that he is trying to spite Nigerians government officials.
Life is constantly revolving. Anyone rich now can also end up on a queue at the foodbank and vice versa. Seen that happen in Alberta due to the boom and burst. May we just continue to pray that God bless us and when he makes us rich, for the riches to remain permanent. Got to sleep now. Stay safe and God bless.

You simply a bigot, many country's of the world right now Carter's for their citizenry and residence with food supplies...
Almost all Europeans countries, American countries, Asian countries are adequately providing foods to all and sundry. But what do we have in Nigeria.... Politics and deceit, even all the billions donated to the FG is no where to be found. What an animal country we live in.
And somebody has the guys to defend a failed zoo. Bastards

I still don’t get why Some Nigerians try so hard to display Canada or the west in general as a problem free nation(s). Yes the government of Canada can afford to send food baskets to its citizens and residents but Africans and Nigerians are also supporting one another in their own little way. I don’t even know the purpose of this video . Is the poster ignorant of the fact that most of the poor and needy in Nigeria don’t even have an address (assuming he’s suggesting that the government Should post food items to homes of the needy). Not every solution effective in a Canada will work effectively in Nigeria .

Oga, almost every house in Lagos (for instance) has an address with PHCN which they deliver
monthly electricity bills. See, if we had a caring govt they would do it easily. If PHCN can generate
electricity bills for the remotest of households ...

.

Nigerians, we can criticize everything and everybody. Call the same person to come and head one of the agencies, he might break records in stealing and poor performance.

Cheap, processed and adulterated oyinbo convenient foods that are going to make the virus kill him faster. It weakens the immune system rather than fortify it and most if them are carcinogenic.

You are better off with proper anala, ewedu, ugwu, insala, bitter leaf, Banga soup with proper African herbs and vegetable to keep you ahead of the virus

When we say poor and needy especially during this lockdown we do not mean homeless or even jobless, some family with jobs bt not prepared for this lockdown will need food, they have homes and addresses. What is wrong with you or u think only the poor and needy right now are the homeless ones??

Even our stupid federal government brought out a list they claim they have been using since 2015 for most poor and vulnerable. An unverifiable list by independent source and also an outdated list.

That's the mentality of our federal government. They distributed so called funds to poor people not people directly affected by the lockdown.

Useless Criminal lazy disorganised government.
