A US house of Reps Member, Rep. Trey Hollingsworth, has said that he is willing to let more Americans die from Coronavirus to save the economy.

“Favoring the economy over Americans’ health “is the lesser of two evils,” Rep. Trey Hollingsworth said.

Reopening the economy is preferable to preventing a new wave of coronavirus deaths, a member of Congress from Indiana said Tuesday.

“It is policymakers’ decision to put on our big boy and big girl pants and say it is the lesser of these two evils,” Republican Rep. Trey Hollingsworth told radio station WIBC-FM of Indianapolis. “It is not zero evil, but it is the lesser of these two evils, and we intend to move forward that direction.”

His push for the end of isolation for much of the country aligns with President Donald Trump’s desire to get the nation back to work. But medical experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, have said ending stay-at-home orders too soon could spark a new wave of COVID-19, the disease associated with the coronavirus.

You didn't read the message you just concluded..You don't even know the genesis of the argument. Americas economy is bleeding, things are at a stand still no production,no GDP nothing. So Trumps argument is that Upon the closure of the economy and all sectors, the Covid19 is still spreading like wild fire. He then suggested that why not reopen the economy and let everyone take precautions for themselves i.e social Distancing, face mask, and the likes cos he doesn't want the Covid19 to turn to Hunger19 as the case in Nigeria right now.
So the lawmaker is supposedly supporting Trump's model cos in some parts of America, protests are already protesting, people want to return to work, they are getting broke and hungry.
