It maybe covid-19 but I believe is due to poor health. The north are use to free things from FGN, so with the lockdown and most govt.health workers staying at home for their safety.. u will surely see things like this. Also only few pharmacies dat sell drugs for the so called big-man sickness like BP, diabetes, cholesterol, etc. But in southern Nigeria (SW,SE,SS,MB), they are used to getting their healthcare services from private hospitals (whose workers are still going to work) and most of their pharmacies have these drugs e.g one cholesterol drug called Crestol cos abt 10,000naira for just 28-30 tablets..., |

There are more dead bodies picked up on daily basis on the streets of Lagos, Enugu, Port Harcourt etc than this occasional one in Kano. Similarly, the much touted recent spike in Kano death rate seems to be more coinicidental than COVID 19 related; this is because the terminal symptoms of the virus (i.e. inability to breath effectively etc) are quite distinct and therefore could not have been missed by the relatives of the deceased - who would have reported same. Some ppl are apparently politicising and sensationalising the matter (admittedly quite serious) more than they actually should. |

If they don't lift the lock down in Kano... People will keep dieing. There's a lot of people carrying different diseases and ailment in the north due to poor hygiene among the people and are having lowest standard of living... They build houses with small windows with considering ventilation It is that daily movements that is boosting their immune system to keep body and soul going... You now lock them down. Why was there no deaths before the lock down... But just few days after the lock down, over 600 people died within a week. Think about that. Govt hospitals are not accepting anyone... Private hospitals are rejecting sick patients... Any chemist you visit in the state is crowded with sick people. Kano people that once there's a change of weather, people fall sick anyhow. Currently, the heat is something else, as they're yet to even experience rain fall this year |

cybug: The ultimate solution to the problem in the north is the lack of education. If you have even basic education, you will know what to avoid. In Abuja, you see aboki okada riders beside a green puddle of water, washing their bikes with bare hands. Hands they will use to eat. They earn so little that they don't consider going to hospital. This issue is one they can no longer dodge. 1 Like |

destinie2019: You're right... Very poor personal hygiene. On the part of education, some of the educated ones are not excluded. They can spit anyhow and anywhere. You don't wash hand before eating... After eating, they will use their hand to rub on the legs and hair like varseline. It is how they were trained from home and schools (Islamic schools too) are not doing anything to help them sensitise on the need for personal hygiene and even environmental health. I was in one of the specialist hospital in Kano last year to visit a friend who had an accident, I witnessed like 11 people that they brought in the emmergency unit... All with severe stomach pain. I asked one of the Nurses there why almost everyone they brought was having stomach pain.. He said 'most of people in the north have bad eating habit'... Eating some combinations of food that may upset the system. He said there was a night they received more than 30 people with same issues. Lol |

ChybuzzDD:Don't mind those propagandists writing rubbish claiming to have knowledge They aren't great thinkers, they are just one way ticket. What kind of money will Bill gates and Melinda be looking for as to want to kill you to make more money They are OK in life till they die even without working. Their money in software biz and others is working for them. I just don't understand what these people are writing |

ChybuzzDD: You see what is happening now is about control on a global scale. Not just Nigeria as you may presume. Bill Gates who is a major sponsor for big pharma companies believes in population control using vaccines. This is not a theory but public knowledge. His pharma companies are supplying test kits and will eventually supply vaccines to Third World countries like Nigeria. This vaccines according several reports will kill people as part of their depopulation agenda. I will advice you do some research by searching on this to know better before you jump into conclusion. |

Unfortunate man...he could have slumped and died for any reason, just as people have done, since before the arrival of Covid. Let us hope that authorities were only late to remove a corpse, and not late to bring help to someone who would have benefited, who has now died. |
