Node is the future of back-end programming, it's under Javascript it's really dynamic.
PHP is a great language too and still widely used, but it's slowly losing popularity
I will do some follow up, thanks for that!

Yes i know.

a = ''guru"
b = 99

print( a + str(b))

That's the correct lines which gives "guru99"

I am at date and time delta. It's not easy ooo

Nice one and I love the way you converted your integer to string ... Still learning though

Started Javascript yesterday... Damn it is to hard... But not gonna give up.. Html and CSS seem simple
Smiles, don’t give up. It’s easier Cos HTML and CSS are just mere languages for styling.

Though slow, I'm learning graphics stuff this month, html, css, and JavaScript.
Also, I've got some couple of business books to read. God help me o. I already dropped domain flipping for now...

I am in the medical field, but I learnt html, css and javascript.

I am just confused as to what to do with the knowledge, and what more languages should I learn?

Please someone should advice me

Depending on the aspect of medical field and your interests:
1)Data Analysis, in which case you have to add python skills (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn libraries etc). This will be helpful in epidemiology /medical statistics related work.

2) Web App Development; django framework(if you choose python language) will come handy. You can build an electronic health records (EHR); an app for booking a medical appointment etc.

3) You can write programs to automate certain tasks or operations in your practice.

My area is Public Health. I have an app I'm still working on, though it's already deployed , that helps mothers/caregivers keep to appointments with their primary health care service providers.

Thanks, you don't know how much motivation this is.
I was already planning on stopping any thing coding, I thought it was useless to me.

Pls can you elaborate more on machine learning
well, according to what I've been learning, machine learning is simply giving the computer enough data to perform tasks on its own, without any code execution. you can read more here, https://coderoker..com/2020/04/machine-learning-introduction-in-details.html

What part of technology interests you?
Web designing? Web developing? Or app development?

To be honest both app and web developing, I was stuck between furthering my knowledge on web development, like learning higher stuff like jquery or sql or just looking a bit into app development like having a bit knowledge of Java and c++.

The issue I had to contend with is lack of motivation, I was already convincing myself that tech skills were useless to someone in the medical field.

Don't give up.

Just try and identify gaps, in service delivery for example, as it concerns your practice. Then ask yourself, which of these gaps can be bridged with a program or software?

Python All the way, 40 percent there.. So far consumed webscrapping (beautifulsoup), web automation like automatic Twitter etc. follows, likes and comments (sellenium), computer operation automation (pyautogui) and desktop app development using a very simple package (pysimplegui) with sqlite3. I dey on top flask web microframework now, hopefully moving to Django framework soon.. in the near future A.I and ML are on my radar.

I want to learn DevOps

Also learning DevOps. I take quizzes on Kodekloud to boost my Linux skillset. Also have a couple of web apps which i created to get familiar with deploying pipelines. I use docker for all my development and i recently moved my applications to Kubernetes.
I and a friend run projects together and this helps us learn fasters. Feel free to reach out and we can talk about how to help each other

How long have you been learning it? Did you go into it with a developer or operations background?

w3schoolsdotcom is beginner friendly. You can start from there.
Also, there is this ebook on HTML and CSS by Jon Duckett. It's also beginner friendly and you can get it online.

Remember to practice while you learn.

I just started learning Python with YouTube videos but I need a motivator.

I wish we can have something like a whatsapp group where we can help and motivate ourselves. I believe it will help.
Even me but mine, I just love to learn it with others in a room with the instructor.

Operations background but in the last one year, been doing a lot of development for cross functional training. I code in python (flask framework), node and react now. I find it easy to pick up languages as long as i have a problem i am trying to solve. The background doesn't matter much. You just have to be curious.
But i think development has helped me the most. It kind of changed my thinking pattern when dealing with operations. Helps me see the developers point of view and be a better engineer
