I recently opened an access bank account, and I could not collect the atm card, but I had put a large chunk of money in the account.
after 2 months, I started receiving otps of registering for acess mobile app which I did not...
to note, I received that otp twice but I discarded it at first.

after, 2 weeks I got d otp message again, contacted my bank and they said it looked suspicious also, and I blocked all access to the account for now.

again, no card yet, no code registration yet...pls no insult.. how safe is the account... should i just quit it?

Its the work of a bank insider job,probably a bank staff has leaked ur info to a hacker to clear your funds.block ur account from any fund transfer and lay a complaint to the bank.Am speaking from experience.

Is it a Diamond Extra Account

I opened a diamond extra account and I was given a strange account number different from the regular access bank account numbers.
Funny thing is that I can't transfer funds from my other accounts both Access bank's account and First bank) into the said account via mobile transfer. Each time I tried, no bank will be listed to be associated with the account number and I have some funds in there.
The other day, I went to Access bank branch to withdraw funds from the Diamond extra account, and the desk officer behind the counter surprisingly told me that the account number is not Access Bank's. Not until her colleagues briefed her.
And yes, I opened the diamond account right inside the bank at the normal customer care unit.
The matter just tire me.

Also, I applied for Debit card for my other Access Bank account and after their incessant "go and come back next week, it will arrived from Lagos", they debited me for the card that I never received, one week later, they refunded...
This they did for sometime until I went and raised my voice in the bank then it stopped. I even told them I didn't need the card again, and dude told me I had to collect it when it arrives and I told him he will have to bring it to my house himself then.
Till date, I have not collected the card.

I guess they are yet to reconcile the Diamond bank acquisition hence the confusion. Perhaps with time they'll be organized. For now, they are unserious.

It is not safe, their wahala too much for that bank, I was once their customer, they nearly killed me with fraud. I had to quit.
