Rubbish, building model schools and good roads in the city centre is all good and rosy, what about the rural towns and villages do they have well-tarred roads, goods model schools and security, the answer is no, the Northern village and town dwellers are forced to survive on their own.

I will not praise Northern or Southern leaders for doing their job that, but what concerns me is the hypocrisy in presenting modern infrastructure in the major cities while millions of Nigerians are being raped, kidnapped and murdered in the rural areas.

Brand new, 16" Foam beds, Motorcycle, bags of Rice, many gallons of groundnut oil, bags of Salt, etc, in excess quantities but how many of you have seen the same Agencies rushing to any Souther States, to give them anything after a disaster?
- Did you notice that all the Roads Construction started by this Govt of Buhari in the North, since 2016, have been completed and new ones have even been started? But non of the few Roads started in the South of Nigeria has been completed, even the Lagos-Ibadan which is an arterial gateway to the East, South South and North, will NOT be completed before 2023.
- Did anyone notice that the Eight-lanes Lagos-badagry express that Lagos State Govt has been doing bit-by-bit since the days of Fashola, with allowance for a City Rail track, has been siezed by the federal Govt of Buhari and it has been reduced to a TWO LANE, with the Rail track removed! - It is this same buhari that used the excuse of corruption to cancel the City-Rail Project of Lateef Jakande in Lagos!

Every state gets its share of federal allocation, his question was : What did your own Governor do with the State allocation he got?
That l think is a valid question we must all be prepared to ask our Governors.

Yes, it is not "ultra-modern" but how many universities (both private and public) in Nigeria can boast of useable visual screens? We shd not even go to secondary schools. So this might not be much but if all our schools have this then we are getting somewhere.

My opinion is that governance required an honest person n one that has conscience. Sometimes is not about big paper qualification, although Borno state governor is a professor but I think those things I mention earlier r his driving force.
