Anthony Joshua Hits Back At Critics After Black Lives Matter Protest Speech by vegafbs: 12:30pm On Jun 08, 2020
The unified world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua was part of a black lives matter march and park gathering in his hometown of Watford on Saturday.

Joshua at the black lives matter protest at park gathering took the microphone and spoke minutes.

Recall there have global protest against racism after the death of George Floyd in the hands of Minneapolis cops.

A snippet of the initial speech was taken out of context and shared on social media on Saturday evening, in which Joshua reads out:

“Show them where it hurts. “Abstain from spending your money in their shops and economies, and invest in black-owned businesses.”

Against this backdrop, Anthony Joshua on Sunday evening took to his official Twitter handle to blast critics.

He wrote; “If you think I’m a racist, go f*** yourself!

“If you watch the full video, the speech was passed around for someone to read and I took the lead.

“I personally spoke from the heart about the Watford community, ideas of us personally investing seven figures to create unity and opportunities and adding change to the African/Caribbean community.
