My experience as a broker between suppliers and buyers recently has not been encouraging. Sellers want to make gain at no risk, they demand a certain percentage of the money upfront without having delivered the goods when that is the first time they're doing business with the firm. I wonder who will do that! I feel sellers should accept a form of document (LPO as an example) that will serve as a guarantee of payment once the goods are delivered in the proper conditions. Buyers also should make effort to build trust with the sellers by providing the necessary documents that can provide a sort of guarantee to them. We all don't want to fall victim of a fraudulent deal. I'm open to advice on this, NL'ers. Feel free to also share your experience of a deal gone bad.
