Lagos is known as a wild wild place, and it gets even Wilder on Fridays. Coming back from work today, I saw some crazy things that highlight Lagos wildness.
First off was the traffic, Lagos holdup doesn't joke with anyone but todays own tie gele. It was like all drivers had signed a pact to break as many traffic laws as possible and there was a prize for the winner. If the drivers were the only problem at least that one will still be okay, but tankers also contributed their quota by stopping wherever could congest the traffic as often as possible.
Second thing noticed was THE LADIES. The young babes seemed to have somewhere to go as they were walking up-and-down, jiggling around and racing towards the clubhouses and bars in town, some dragging their fortunately unfortunate guys along for the ride.
I passed the front of a hotel and just a glance was enough to show me how crazy the night was going to be. As if it wasn't enough, I even saw a young man trying to sneak his bae out of his house without arousing suspicion from his neighbours and maybe parents.
How was Lagos TGIF where you are?
