Have glo data subscribers noticed that when you subscribe to multiple monthly data subscription, your don't get receive your cumulative 30 days validity period rather a reset and addon of just the balance days after the previous data subscription outstanding days have been subtracted?

A simple math of what happens is
- Data Subscription 1 has 20 days left to expire.
- Data Subscription 2 which should be 30 days added to Data Subscription 1 which remains 20 days to become 50 days; what GLO now does is that the 20 days is subtracted from the 30 days remaining 10 days, the 10 days alone is now added to the expiry date/days to become 30 days validity instead of 50 days, thereby short changing customers.

On Checking their website and chatting with Customer care, this is what I found out as the new FRAUDULENT tactic by GLO Nigeria to make you loose days, force customers to spend more money on data subscription and possibly loose their data, for those that aren't aware of this FRAUD angry.

If I have multiple data Plans active, how does it work?
If you have multiple data Plans active, the data Plans with merge based on the category.
Example: If you have a 30-day regular data plan and 1-day regular plan, the data volume will merge and the maximum data validity will be applied

Before, one could in one day do multiple data subscriptions that would be valid for up to 12 months without minding if your subscription will expire soon. But now if you don't follow up monthly or find oneself where GSM service isn't available, customer may be at their mercy.

THIS IS GRAND FRAUD, NCC SHOULD TAKE PROMPT ACTION AND ADDRESS THIS FRAUD BY GLO MOBILE BY REVERTING TO WHAT IT WAS BEFORE.

Nothing like fraud it sir/ma

If you have 300mb left on your data which expires in let’s assume 10 days, then you decided to make another subscription, what they will do is to add the data you have left to the new one, so instead of that data to expire in 10 days time, they’ll merge it to the new sub and expires in 30 days time that’s if you’re based on monthly subscription, so therefore nothing like fraud here.

That is how it should be na, the last sub determines when it will expire. And that is 30 days from the day you do your sub.

Before when you subscribe, the validity increases by 30 days for every monthly data subscription, so also does the new subscription data, it adds up. Why does the data accumulate but the validity resets?
What changed?
Why did Glo alter the former structure if not to gain undue advantage over customer, trying to eat your cake and have it?
They should revert to the pre 2020 data subscription structure which was satisfying for customers.
