Anyone can attend LSE, admissions is not a problem for most people, it is funding that is.

Most times its important to understand corporate strategy .

Let's examine this scenario
There maybe a public tender worth billions which PwC is competing with E&Y , KPMG e.t.c

And the key buyer is a Northerner, for we know most agencies and parastatal are managed by Northerners.

The Public sector sales manager where I work is a Northerner and we are winning and closing deals in big ministries even the NNPC.

People from the North are very collaborative amongst themselves. This is a fact

Pls my comments are in no way tied to tribalism, but it's a corporate strategy.

And again she may have been promoted based on merit

Yorubas and their dominance of the corporate world.

It is about information. The businesses surround them and they are able to take advantage. Outside of Lagos, many students may not even know about PWC, Accenture, Deloitte, P&G. Consultancy jobs can take you round the global industries and open your eyes to business incubation, opportunities and governance. You can only be what you know!

She has not really had that career trajectory to be a partner. It has been off and on in that sector. Some of the guys that I saw on the list Akingbade and Labeodan have been high flyers in PWC even before she graduated from Uni. Corporate strategy is at play here, anyway it is allowed. Ajimobi's son Bolaji is with KPMG because of Joseph Tegbe who his late father was deceiving that he will make him succeed him as governor.

You know how to read very well.
Her career path is clearly not deep enough compared to southerners who are in similar positions.
May the good Lord continue to increase your knowledge as you share with us and expose the magomagos of our imperfect union of a country. Amen

It is very clear that she was propped up to get to that position. How can someone in a shortwhile be an associate in KPMG that's like Level 2 to a partner in PWC? Haba some people i know have worked for 15 and 16 years in the consulting form before they get to partner level. She interned with them(like NYSC) worked in IHS and Etisalat so if i check very well she might have spend at worst 6 years in KPMG and Deloitte that would never be enough for partner position abeg. Congrats to her that's life you use your opportunities to get what you want.

She is the 1st in PwC but , children of the elite/politicians always come top in everything the deep there hands into, why wont they , their parents benefited then killed public education so they could ship their litters abroad , they looted dry the national treasury in other pay for the children's education, with a dead educational system at home and their kids leveraging on their parents stashed loots , why wont they study.
Have you ever had the son or daughter of a Nigerian elite not performing in school abroad it's just the norm, next you'll hear she's the new minister of finance , accountant general or whatever Kaduna and the cycle continues .

At the very young age. Quite an achievement. Starting a career with any of the big 4 should be the dream of every graduate from the business discipline. Don't mind the pay package as you will be well grounded.

Cool
Just take a look at what this lady has achieve at the age of 37. At 24 she was breaking boundaries.

Sadly so many ladies are not ambitious enough or goal-oriented. They think life is about looking good and finding a good man.

Ladies seriously need to destroy the established narrative of ladies being low level achievers.

Fake life living hoes and social media zombies should look up to this lady.

Maybe you should change your environment and people you know because there are way many ladies making waves in corporate Nigeria. Abi you no dey LinkedIn? undecided

Congrats beautiful Hajiya,

More more wins kiss

Even if she is related to El-rufai, she cannot become a partner at PWC without meriting it.

So you think PWC can survive in Nigeria without government cooperation ba? There's a reason they need a Fulani face in there... Not saying she's not intelligent but even a fool can see that this is to much, too soon

Is just me or are you just dull at understanding things and seeing the underlying message of my comment.

Read my comments carefully . I know there are ladies who are achieving a lot. But is it a norm? The average Nigerian lady isn't to all that. They'll rather place marriage as the ultimate goal. We need ladies to change that mentality and strive for independence.

I am citing this lady as an example for others. The same way I am going to cite any other lady lauded publicly for her achievement.

It's largely societal, something not everyone can control. If they do as you suggest, same Nigerians will mock them as evening newspapers, old cargos, feminists etc. It's a catch-22 situation for these ladies. Abi no be the same Rita Dominic & Genevieve Nnaji who are being mocked daily because they decide to be single and not interested in marriage?
