The Department of State Security Service, DSS has responded to reports that one of its authorities at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, Safiyanu Abba, slapped a security official at the airport.

On Wednesday, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, in an announcement by means of twitter revealed that Mr Abba ambushed the official for calling him to arrange on Friday.

DSS Spokesman, Peter Afunanya, denied the claim on Wednesday evening. He said; “This is not true. DSS staff are well mannered and couldn’t have slapped or fought a personnel of an agency he is working with.”
