School Is Not A Scam;its About Your Attitude Towards It. by Nobody: 11:43am On Jul 24, 2020
Yes I said it: school is not a scam.
Let me get to the root of this misconception. I think the fault comes from our parents (especially those with poor ones). Our parents who couldn't get an education and were poor thought that their suffering or poverty was caused by their lack of education, thereby transferring that belief to the kids that "going to school is the way out of poverty" which is an erroneous and inane belief.
While growing up,I was told that of I didn't go to school, I'll be useless in life. Our parents transferred this belief to is maybe as a way to motivate us to do well in school,I don't know;but this belief is realm causing problems.
Now we the children,on going to school, spending a significant portion of our lives there and on coming out,the paradise we were promised if we came out were nowhere to be found. Ya'll know how disapointment can be.
The "so called jobs" we were promised nowhere to be found and in frustration we chant:"school na scam".
The truth here is that school will never, ever teach you about money. Yes. This is what we weren't taught. School does not teach you how to make money. And considering we spend a lot of years there, why won't we be frustrated?
If you're planning on going to a university, have this at the back of your mind that school is not a scam, its just that you will never be taught about money and if you went in poor, you'll come out the same way unless you do something about it.
School does not teach us about money. They only teach us how to be employees I.e Slaves to money. I know a lot of employees are angry right now but please, ask yourself this question:"if I stop working today, will I be able to fund my needs without a salary"?if no,then you are a slave to money.
School is not a scam. Go and do business if you want to be a billionaire.
Shalom

:"if I stop working today, will I be able to fund my needs without a salary"?if no,then you are a slave to money." the problem with many Nigerians is the fact that we follow the crowd. Some motivational speakers keep saying the bolded forgetting that you must start from somewhere. They erroneously teach their followers to be the boss of them whereas in practice you got to work under someone before establishing yourself. Am sure if the sales person you employed think as you think, everyone will be the captain in the ship.
