TuroDee:
Officials of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) supervising the ongoing WASSCE examination were attacked by students of Bright Senior High School at Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region of Ghana on Thursday over strict invigilation.

A journalist with the state-owned Daily Graphic was also beaten by the students during the melee.

His phone and bag were taken away by the students who chased him on a motorbike and pummeled him even as he jumped onto a moving commercial bus to save his life.

The marauding students trashed phones belonging to the invigilators.

They were angry about strict supervision and social-distancing protocols in the exam hall.

The police had to intervene to calm nerves.

c Looking at it critically, what do you expect the children to write? The children are not prepared they are angry.

The entire school should be heavily sanctioned to serve as a deterrent to others.

They are in soup, I mean the whole school.

The examination system needs reform, you can be so strict with the students while you have very poor methods of teaching. since the pass 50 years we have been so strict but never lead us to any development compare to EU.

We are lacking something that we need to figure out why our system of education lacks substances.

Opening of schools now spells an avoidable disaster! They can all go for briefing at schools nationwide that would last for 1month with all social distancing rules on ground and resume schools fully on February which would match the date 4 the production of the vaccine!
Na person wey dey alive, dey go school! Save lives!

PS the students should be heavily dealt with, which may include retaking their waec exams next yr to serve as a restraining order to intending abusers! The school should be sealed off and closed!

so four months is not enough for a child to get prepared? If you are a parent, I'm ashamed of you.. But if you are student, you are a reflection of this generation

Dependency on leaked examination questions or cheats is terrible, and that is one of the reasons we've seen the country operating at a low ebb. It is really nauseating to find that this evil has become a norm in our educational setting. Malpractice is corruption. All hands must be on deck to stem this malady that has eaten deep into the fabric of this nation. We can achieve more if we put or minds to be better individuals!
