I would really like to appreciate Seun and his battalion of mods for their good work on this forum. More so, I would like to appreciate those seeking legitimate information on the platform. I really hope this can reach the front page....

The point of this post is to figure out ways to make elections impossible to rig. It's a big job, but believe me, Nigeria is a sub continent of it's own, like the US and India and anything that works here would work out in other parts of the world.

I run a security outfit in Ibadan and I am thinking of a large project that would make it impossible for politicians to manipulate Election results. It's the DEOP(Digital Election Observation Project).

We currently need volunteers to join our Facebook group... Nigerian egalitarian.. just join and say I'm in on our wall..

I was in Ibadan Ayeye area during the 2011 elections. I can say the election was free of violence in the area. The elderly ones especially women will vote and seat around, waiting for the result to be announced, after which they requested for a duplicate copy of the result to be pasted at the polling unit as stipulated by lnec, the people were so much involved in the electoral process, that was why the incumbent governor then lost to Ajimobi.
So to me, getting the people involved in the electoral process will help to sanitize it.
