Sometimes I feel with the way these old men have gone silent with the boko haram issue. There seem to be an understanding of some sort which has gone awry.

We are complaining of voter apathy in Southeast, and Nnamdi KANU to stand on IPOB not participating in elections?

It was an ill thought order which needed to be rescinded.

If you ask me, I want IPOB to start adopting candidates and vigorously mobilize people to vote. Let the Southeast start churning out millions of votes.

There's no where in the constitution or Electoral Act that states that if a section of the country does not participate in election then such election becomes invalid.

For me, IPOB should keep voting until Biafra is restored as not doing so is denying Southeast of it's portion of vote which might lead somebody we do not want winning the election.

So KANU was right to have rescinded that order.
