Good day all;
To get an international drivers license go to force headquarters annex at kam salem house; moloney obalende. You will get it same day. Just go with your passport photograph. Pls ensure u get to d office where it's been done. Don't patronise any tout.
As for d consent form; I got it notarised by a notary public. But when pple raised d issue of embassy, I booked an appointment and went with d forms to d embassy. But didn't send it to madam cos she used d one I signed earlier. And she gave birth in Houston.
The embassy signing is absolutely free. But not sure it's a prerequisite.

Lol, carry the one you have with you, before you give birth someone must answer you. If it's the one by any notary public, your good to go, otherwise your husband would go to the embassy, embassy must write the date down, and that date has to be after the birth of your baby, lol. Hope the one you have doesn't have date o.

Sooooo we are back to my original question undecided

Which one does Georgia (Atlanta) accept? Court or Embassy?

Lmao, I have abuja brand too, but I don't even know which one my state use, part of the things I have to find out...

Why do you like giving false information? This is my second child and all my husband did was go to notarize the form DS -3053 at the nearest court.
I'm not saying it can't be done at the embassy but the embassy is not the only option.

I'm not sure you understand what false information really means. According to the US embassy website in Nigeria that I posted and I quote :

"Note: The only notary public in Nigeria that is recognized in the United States is a U.S. Consular Officer at the Embassy/Consulate" End quote .
If you have a problem with them listing that on their website about their country then let them know .I also clearly stated that anyone is free to use whichever method they choose . But the information i provided remains valid .So, please don't tell me I am giving false information because you don't know me like that ms thang.

Thanks for that link , but I am a 1000% sure that more than 70% of the mums on this thread didn't use notarized consent form from the embassy, I am also aware of others too , that have used notarized consent forms from notary publics not In the embassy . My friend did has for 1k, no date was written on it, when the baby came she filled out the date and as I type, mother and son are in abuja.

Interesting...I was under the impression that When a document is notarized you are not supposed to add anything else to it later on...

Good morning Mamas, hope you slept well or you are sleeping well at the moment. Please for Phoenix mums, which notary consent is still accepted. Embassy or public? Or anyone? Thank you

i'm not taking sides but as far as i've been reading this thread and Amother4life started commenting just a while back if i'm not mistaken that lady doesn't talk without evidence I was even going to ask if she be lawyer, so what are you saying? She's not totally wrong at least what she said is fact so please go take several seats, and let me add again when a form is notarized you aren't supposed to add anything to it, anything added to it makes it void by nature of the contract entered but we get away with it simply because the person accepting it doesn't know and I will put date on it if my husband isn't present there.

Yes of course. Am not disputing the fact that it is stated on the embassy's website. What am saying is, it's wrong for her to use that to form a conclusion when people have stated here times without number that they actually used a consent letter notarised in a public court. I know it doesn't apply to all states but then she shouldn't have generalized. And she even mentioned the payment of $50. I think we all know that is not true... Or am I missing something here?

well she didn't make that up in her head she saw it from somewhere, so don't crucify her yet, and you know you are equally giving false information because you can't show us where the issue has been trashed out

Anytime I peep in on this thread n I see things that make me wonder I call it out.

Well maybe I will understand ur comment another time but don't count on it today.

Plus do u really think that question about benefit required an answer anybody educated enough to use the Internet knows the answer or can Google it trust me.
airpure you can call someone out with referring to the persons ego as fragile, that is quite a derogatory remark to make about someone you don't even know in person.

fight no go start o but what is not good remains bad, people don't realise we are on an Internet forum and we shouldn't make derogatory statements to one another and call people out unnecessarily and wrongly, say the right thing if need be and ignore and let others pass.
