Na wa o. What is insane in the method?

These are the type of things we read that make us believe the opposition throws bombs.

What will they be telling people in a door-to-door campaign? Do they think people don't know what they are doing?

As a VP and then President, why do you still need to emback on a doot-to-door campaign if you have actually done well?

Don't come near my door, otherwise, you will annoy my dog.

They seem to be confused.

GEJ is definitely winning this election.
Hes got the structures and funding and campaigning better than anyone else.
Elections are not won by credibility alone, popularity is more important.

This has got to be the height of deaperation for this benighted president and his demonic party. i can just imagine someone coming to my door to preach about PDP and johnathan, what do they possibly have to say? maybe i'll finally join his facebook page just to advice him to keep his people away from hoods like mushin, aj city, obalende and the likes (imagine campaingning to some disgruntled area boy cheesy). but i doubt if he actually cares about the safety of the 'volunteers', anyone who feels the PDP related casualties are not enough should feel free to sign on.

Why are these Buhari supporters so violent!! Why does your mind have so much evil!!

If a Jonathan supporter comes to your door, can't you seek to convert him to your own candidate!!

Thats where the opposition keeps missing it! They fail to realise that everybody is a potential supporter of their candidate!
PDP knows that and thats why they will keep winning elections despite the failures they have executed on the country!!
They go to seek votes everywhere whether its in Alausa or in Daura- they will go for the votes!!

This door to door campaign is the most effective strategy to utilize in any elections!

Here's the only comment made on the web page posted by the OP.

"Do you mean 1 million unemployed youths desperately seeking a life line register for Jonathan door to door campaign? We see it every now and then. Advertise job vacancy and see the army of the unemployed that will apply. You have not proven to me that these ones believe in Jonathan any more than the NYSC corps members who apply as INEC adhoc staff believe in INEC. How else do you explain the fact that they refuse to work when INEC fails to pay their allowances. The true story is 1 million Nigerians rendered unemployed by PDP's policies register as "volunteers" for Jonathan's door to door campaign and will pull out if Jonathan fails to pay. By the way, how far from 1 million are they?"

Door to Door Campaign is actually an effective way of ensuring you get as many votes as possible. With many Nigerians still uninformed of what really goes on in their government, I hate to say this is a real good way of winning over those who appreciate attention from their leaders.

You are wrong on this one. Those whose doors would be knocked on are virtually all aware of how corrupt GEJ's government is. PDP's plan will be to bribe those in remote locations. Kobojunkies, 9ja no be US o!

Please let's be realistic here.

1. Most Nigerians do not know much of their politicians -- I can walk up to someone's door in that country and essentially tell a made-up story of how magnificient the devil is the reason why Nigeria is the way it is,and I will definitely convince quite a lot more than I would if I had spewed that trash here in the State. How else do you think these man(known thieves) get all his supporters? Go out there and tell people that the reason why we have no electricity is because River Niger and Benue dried up and blame it on God, you will find those who believe you without so much as a WAIT A MINUTE.

2) With the bribery culture, I am certain, I can get at least 1000 people to promise their votes for my candidate if I promise them Naira 1000 for each vote they cast for my side.

You are right  . . . Nigeria is definitely not america where you will get some amount of resistance, even from rednecks. Nigerians are not as informed on what is going on up in Aso rock as I can attest to the fact that I have friends who allow themselves to be fed rumors and then try to spew that rumor at me as fact.

How else do you think the man got all his supporters? Many of them were, and still are grossly unaware of the dept to which he drove that country. You will get those who believe that God ordained him and will quickly swallow anything you tell them as long as you paint it all with God first and last.

If anything, Jonathan's concerted effort at luring people to his side has continued to backfire. GEJ has painted the airwaves (Radio and Television) with hundreds of adverts and jingles. His cronies have been screaming that Buharis and Ribadu have not been campaigning. Yet, Buhari (and Ribadu) has so far continued to trounce GEJ in every campaign rally.

Door to door will only expose the weakness of the GEJ candidature the more, 'cos when critical questions are asked, these hungry and jobless foot soldiers will be found wanting. How will they be able to answer questions when their principal is afraid to engage in a debate with his opponents?

Re: Your Veiw On Gej's Door To Door Campaign by 9ijaMan: 10:59pm On Mar 06, 2011
Check your dictionary if you don't know.
The crowd at either of Buhari or Ribadu's rally have consistently been larger than those who attended GEJ's rally. I suppose a candidate as popular as a sitting president, "ordained by God", "it is our turn now" in person of GEJ should consistently pull greater crowd.

The only consistency in GEJ's and most PDP rallies are the number of deaths recorded!

someone will just commit suicide when Buhari finally loose the third bid.

Take it easy, dont get worked up with hypertension. Sit down once and think that it is possible Buhari or Ribadu fails to win. What u go do?
