King Williams Children's Library held its inaugural Summer Library Project in August 2022. The Library was domiciled at the Redeemed Christian Church of God ( RCCG ), Safe Haven Assembly, Mowo Kekere, Off Ijede Road, Ikorodu, Lagos. We attended to more than 150 kids during the three weeks of operation. The library was open from 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Our beneficiaries were able to access story books, picture books, comics, graphic novels, Cartoon DVDs etc. They borrowed materials and returned them after 7 days for a very small fee. King Williams Children's Library ( KWCL ) also organized a Spelling Bee which was well attended by children and teenagers in the Mowo Kekere area of Ikorodu, Lagos State. We also had story telling time any day the library was opened. The kids absolutely loved our story teller and his exciting stories. We hope to have a more successful Summer Library event in 2023.
