Something appears to have changed on Nairaland.

It used to be that in the past, if you got banned by the antispam bot, then you could email a moderator or the supermoderators and they would release your account and untag your post. Now, that does not seem to happen anymore.

If, for some reason, it is now a hassle to do these chores, why aren't we told what to avoid doing so that our posts don't get taken down by the bot? If this platform is for self-expression and connection with other people, how can you express yourself when you find yourself having to redo long posts that you have lost to a bot?

For what it is worth, I wish somebody could explain just how this system works so that one does not waste so much time typing posts that one will never have access to again.

it could be that moderators are doing the banning under the guise of spambot
that way moderators can be sole judge and don't have to explain anything

whichever, i bet nairaland forums is one of the worlds worst moderated forums

and the site calls them Supermods
