If schools are just resuming half way into the term especially the SS1 students who just concluded their Lagos state BEC exams, would they be expected to still pay full tuition? If tuition for the full term is 350,000 naira, shouldnt the school reduce that in half?

Na pepper you dey price? Besides some schools resumed Sept 21 and closed during the curfew. I don't think they will go for midterm break again till they write their exams. So pay your child's full school fees. cool

No it is not pepper cause you dont spend close to half a million per term on pepper. Obviously you have no idea wht you are saying..SS1 students stayed home and just completed JSS 3 exams last week. This is the same attitude that is messing up this country..zero accountability..Jungle republic. I bet you are a teacher.

Calm down. Govt already told schools to combine 1st and 2nd term result to arrive at a 3rd term result (which they didn't do due to lockdown). Its based on this result that they get promoted to the next class. How many private schools will wait for BECE result to promote J.S.3 to S.S.1? Even the results are not out yet. So going by your own reasoning, S.S.1 should not even start.
Truth is, S.S.1 resumed along with other classes on Sept 21. Pay your ward's full school fees oga tongue

You are obviously a kid going by your twitter handle, music proucer/teacher gigs. No point having this conversation with you since you know more about what is happening than me.

My take on this, not for you but for the benefit of those that will read later.

SS1 students stayed home for first 2 weeks after resumption, then did their BECE for a week and half, then the placement tests after which they were placed in science, arts or commercial classes. They had only started classes for 2 days when the schools were shut. That is another 2 weeks. So about 5 and half weeks of doing nothing pertaining to SS1. Why on earth should tuition be same? Notice my point in focus is tuition which is about 60% of the total fees.

But the arrogant kid who makes millions of naira from teaching and music production thinks fees and tuition are the same.

A kid? Did you just call me a kid? You sound like someone just took your toys because I told you the reality on ground. I own a school. Music is a passion (not that it is any of your business). Word of advice. You want to debate with someone next time, be mature enough to debate with decorum. You feel you have debased someone right? You just ended up showing how immature you are.
Cheers.
