If you are a newbie, after learning a language find a platform that has few competition and master. Learn the backend language that powers that platform.

I'm not a newbie though.
I just want to switch a more in demand Technology in Nigeria.

I'm aware that Python and Golang jobs are a bit scarce in Nigeria due to how expensive it is to run them.

Whatever you do, do not pick a stack because you love it or because it's fancy.

Pick a tech in demand.



Rumour has it that PHP is in demand.

can you give examples of platforms with a few competitions? Or something you would recommend instead of the typical mern stacks that every newbie is jumping at rn.
