It's a trend I've noticed, like we have up to 5 different fintech companies in nigeria doing practically the same thing, is finance the only big sector for tech guys or is just because it appeals more to foreign investors. Real estate, agriculture and education don't have as much players as fintech....why is this?

That's the sub-sector that is bringing in money...and average investor is in the business to make money!

Lol, I could list a dozen sectors that gives good returns....plus some of these fintech companies haven't even been profitable..

Why don't you organise a team of investors to put money in these business models since you have so much confidence in them?

Well unfortunately most investors aren't really interested in real value and long term returns, what gets them is short term returns and if it's sexy and trending, plus it's not really about my confidence it those alternatives but it being a fact.
