Let the govt privatise all state and federal universities to private sectors. If not education will be illusion in this country. Peter Obi did it in Anambra State where all primary and secondary schools are handed over to former owners - churches, etc. All these senseless strike is a thing of the past in anambra state.

Who go do your documentation? Faculty officer, Accountant, cleaners, school nurses, security men, hostel porters? If these guys are not around you can not go for service, you can't do your clearance, you cant do your documentation as a new student , there will be no light in school , no water in the school hostel etc

just sack everyone abi? you think you can pick up anybody from the street and put him into the university system? ok o, you do and you will discover after 4 years that you got a bsc in botany whereas you studied agric econs, knowledge and other work etics are gotten from those ahead of you in the system in the university, you can't just pick a graduate to replace a senior lecturer or prof and expect things to work.

They have no option but to strike because FG refused to honour their agreement. Most time we talk and criticize others as if they are machines that don't have blood flowing in their veins and don't have emotions. This very case we are having here is to blamed on FG.
The money budgeted for insurgency should be channel into the educational sector. Because with all the money spent on insurgency there is nothing to write about it. With the right amount invested in education and science research you will see the country grow, most of those bokoharam and herdsmen new recruit are not educated. If they were to be , they won't wake up one morning to start suicide bombing because of 100k. They will know the value of their life existence.

Mr wise man. You don't need to insult someone for giving his opinion. during my undergraduate days in Oau Ife. the school management gives no Bleep about NASU, NAAT and SSANU.
we have written exams on numerous occasions with the unions to on strike.
