I'm a Corp member who just relocated to Abuja. plans are been made to get me posted to FCDA (federal capital development authority).
But thw thing is, i read theater and media art.

my question is this.....
1. will i find it conducive working there as a result of the course i read
2. what is the possibility of being retained after service

i also had the intention of joining the Nigerian navy if things fall in place.....what would u advice?

I'll be blunt, I think u know the answer to ur question, u might be able to work there...this is Nigeria but retaining u is more tricky, unless u be working as an admin staff...which honestly is a tricky something

Truthfully, you might be opportuned to work there but the thing is your retainment is not certain. You might not be retained because it's not related to your field. Also this is Nigeria whereby employment is not easy to get.

Concerning the Navy. If you wanna join as a graduate you might not be chanced because they recruit graduate based on their field. I'm not sure if your course is among. I don't think so. Mind you, joining force in this country is about qouta. So I'd urge you to know someone that knows someone.

Getting shortlisted for exam is by grace if you don't know anyone. But the hardest part is getting shortlisted for the training.

Stay Safe!
