Britain never left Nigeria, they still control Nigeria , Do you think our slave masters will easily allow Africa to achieve independence and gain freedom? Nobody will throw away such wealth.

Shame!

thunder fire all the northerners that are enjoying all the oil money
will you shot up and start thinking like a human being!!?...rivers state internal revenue and allocation is more than 5 northern state put together.
Obia-kpo local government is richer than 3 states put together in the north. If the state has refused to develop, do not blame it on the North.
I don't want to mention your region but I believe you are from that region that is forcing brotherhood with Niger Delta people because of crude oil...NOTE: I am not from the north thank you..

Enough of all these curse words I beg. What have they used the so to say 'little' allocation they get for?

They gave them NDDC and we know what happened to that. Yes, North is draining the country without contributing much but at least we've all seen that allot can still be achieved with the little they get as Akwa Ibom has shown.

PH used to have one of the worst airports in Nigeria. Let's also point the accusing fingers at their leaders.

We never asked for 13 percent! We asked for the same derivation principles you enjoyed before 1970. Why is that too hard?

NDDC that is still controlled by your national assembly.
NDDC that still has board members from the South west and North.

They love Nigeria to be the way it is, A developed world power version of Nigeria is less likely to be controlled by Britain than an ever depending version of Nigeria.
but the mistake Britain is making is, these terror attacks will only spread and get to them, they haven't shown any concern regarding the Terrorists attack in Nigeria, it's just a matter of time.

And what will fire you and all the Niger Delta indigens who have been placed in charge of; Ministry of Niger Delta, NDDC, 13% derivative, 3% of oil companies annual turnover, Amnesty program etc. Instead of developing the region, they looted the money and left everywhere in the region unattended to.

Just to correct you sir, I'm not a northerner.

Back to the topic of discuss. If you cannot manage 13% derivative judiciously, how on earth will your governors manage quadruple of it?

It's not always about quantity, you need quality administrator managing the affairs of your state. Akwa Ibom remains the pace setter state in this country. Just one visionary leader and boom! Things will begin to change for good.

I never said you are a Northerner, it even makes it worse if you are not a Northerner!

Have you asked yourself how well Nigeria used the 87 percent of our resources?

You talk as if Nigeria has had visionary leaders in abundance. The issue is NOT if it was well used, the issue is about what is RIGHTFULLY OURS.

What stops Nigeria from changing the law for derivation to go directly to the LGAs?

We want at least 50 percent, that is what others got and it is unjust to change the regulations when it was our turn.

It just tells me you Nigerians are ethnic and religious BIGOTS
