Hi,

I'll go straight to the point:

1. It was a party we organised in school with a blend of fashion. It was the award night. My department contributed immensely to the success of the occasion, especially the cooking.

Those were the days I was handsome. I walked with my designers suit, and the fragrance from my Miss Elliot's perfume filled the room. I saw people stealing glances. Oh, my head grew in size.



Food time!


These petites girls would pass me and serve others food. Men, we hosted this, I would say in my mind! I was so hungry I called one of them.

After asking her why I wasn't serves yet and making my order, she apologized, went in, returned and said the rice was finished! What!

I rejected soup.

At a point, my stomach was saying otherwise, I had to call her to bring the soup ‘like that,’ babe tell me say na the last plate of soup she go serve. I nearly died. E pained me no bi small.

2. I was invited to a marriage. My pal's sister was getting married. The happiness was all butterfly colours.


Later,

I was sitting down and seeing well-groomed guys running, and some hiding in their cars... what's happening?

Mah just look back, two Aso Ebi hold me. The MC made sure he collected down till my transport fare that day. I was just smiling sheepishly, and thinking about the skills I'd have used to run had it be I weren't caught.


3. Eat roughly at my pal's marriage. I couldn't use their toilet cos I feared the odour it would bring.

I took a bike downtown to a public toilet. The WC was damn down, and had a faulty door hook. I'd just stamp my foot when I heard footsteps approaching or hum.

One footstep owner refused to stop and pushed the door fast. I stood up. Oh fada, it's just the girl I dey phoney for give wey I lied to I wanted to withdraw. Mehn. She too wanted to use it the toilet.

I tried to bone but the frown mah just weak commot.



I was ashamed. I stood inside saying why why why.

The odour was too much, and Abednego was just floating and refused to flush well.

4. Better left unsaid. Sb stole my phone, changed password and kept it back. Soon, they raised alarm. Guyman say my phone na en own. My corner gather with angry faces holding weapons.

You know that kind thing wey you no need to argue, na to just speak clean English bring the phone out, unlock, show the crowd and walk out like a boss?

That's what I intended doing till the phone failed to unlock. The sweat that filled my body could fill a bucket!

Later I realised it was a prank by my friend. Oh, I was so happy it was a prank.
