Good morning all, please I have been battling with parasitic drain issues, alternator have been replaced twice,battery bought twice.A couple of technicians have worked on the car all to no avail. The electrician removed the fuses one after the other while placing a multi meter on the battery to ascertain the culprit but still came up with nothing
There are no error codes seen after scanning the car. They have changed the ground cables. Alternator returns 14.2 volts DC, indicating it is charging the battery. Battery runs down after 3 days of not driving the vehicle. please if you have had similar issues how was yours resolved.

Sorry for the sad experience. You need a highly competent auto electrician to resolve the issue. Have you checked the VIN history of the vehicle?

Yes,I did before the vehicle was purchased, I have the VIN report on it, Carfax report, the vehicle checked out fine,vehicle wasn't flooded,lots of competent technicians have checked it out, not kazeems.
Am in Aba,have visited the best auto Tech shop here, I have thrown in alot of funds on same issue. Its mind bugling having to remove the battery terminal each time I get home.

Whatever the case, Amperage test must reveal the culprit if it was properly done. I suspect whatever drains the battery starts doing so after a delay period. Tell your technician to pay attention to that.

Men honestly pay a tech from Lagos to come over and fix it. I don't think there's anyone in ABA who would be able to fix that drain

Thanks alot my people,@ Olenyi, you are God sent ,I followed the directions from the YouTube video,I inserted my multimeter plugged the red probe into the amps socket on the meter and got to work,I got 0.64 amps,after pulling a couple of fuses,I got the culprit ECU-B NO2 7.5amps fuse,on pulling it out ,I got 0.02amps.I started the vehicle checked out for any issue with the electronics,all checked out fine.
I will drive the vehicle for a while to see if there be any further issues.

Don't drive with a critical component disabled o. You mentioned something ECU related.

The fuse number ECU-B No 2 has air conditioning written beside it on the vehicles manual, I drove it today without the AC .It didn't give any issues,let me see what happens tomorrow morning, if the battery will drop current again.

Please if any anyone knows the down side of unplugging ECU-B NO2 air-conditioning fuse should tell me .

The effect will most likely be AC related. Either AC clutch or blower motor won't work.
Was your AC functioning before now?

The AC had issues, compressor was replaced,AC cools ok, but they couldn't get exactly same compressor,they fixed a compressor that the placed the sensors around the new compressor but it cools perfectly fine.

If the AC still cools with the errant fuse pulled out, I suggest you keep using the car like that and carefully observe if anything is amiss.

I suspect since they didn't use exact replacement compressor, some modifications have been made to the factory wiring system.
