I came about this post on NAIRALAND that caught my attention  . (https://www.nairaland.com/5693185/chinese-military-intelligence-officer-talks)  . I am not really a conspiracy theorist but I thought I give it the benefit of doubt:

   Corona virus is a bunch of lies concocted by the Chinese state  -A world super power like China vieing for global dominance created a  biological and chemical agents that can manipulate and control the thinking patterns and behaviours of citizens and then accidentally let's it out on its people in a stand off battle with the C.I.A. 
    Now Directly qouteing from the writer ;

 - ( now we all know  such chemical or biological agent are not carried in ordinary plastic containers but highly sophisticated sealed boxes and you don't just mistakenly drop a chemical agent - it was most likely the C.i.A  that gave the Chinese a taste of their own medicine-   so to say)  .
  
  Around the same time, it became clear that the Agent was entirely beyond our control. It was spreading like wildfire throughout Hubei Province and beyond, infecting tens of millions and causing them all to die. The Agent is far, far more contagious than that, and its fatality rate, unlike the "coronavirus", is not 2%.
No, its fatality rate is 100%. Nobody recovers from it. Everybody who contracts dies

In reality, of course, there is no "coronavirus". It was all made up. greatest cover-up in human history:

     Now this got me thinking  -     could this be a silent espionage battle between China & America   - or a test and show of military might by world super powers *  and how many more corona viruses or biological chemical agents do they have in store for the world - I doubt if this will be the last  -  Apparently there is no need for nuclear weapons anymore - see how simple and easy   'quietly if they please can  wipe out the whole world no single shot fired -  were does this leave third world countries like Africa .  Could this be a wake-up call  , is Armageddon finally here  .
  
   The question is Have I been letting my imagination run wild or    Maybe I have been watching  too many movies   or thinking about it  maybe it's  this new painkillers I have been taking   . Is Dan Brown inferno , contagion, resident evil:final chapter , Kingman golden circle  - are they all really happening  .
   Well Only one form of contagion travels faster than a virus. And that's fear. I Will let you be the judge of things

It's a reference to the Great Flood and Noah's Ark.

The proposal is to emulate the destruction of humanity by God in the Bible with the exception of a chosen few who were saved in Noah's Ark.

This is actually clear from the dialogue.

I propose that we end the world...

But on our terms. An orchestrated apocalypse.

One that would cleanse the world of its' population but leave its infrastructure and resources intact.

It's been done once before. With great success.

The chosen few will ride out the storm, not in an ark as in the book of Genesis, but in safety.
