apart from Kaduna (NDA) no other state in Nigeria houses any federal government outstanding school like Akwa Ibom (marritime academy).
so akwa ibom should be in top 5.

They have nothing meaningful to contribute. Even with their so called dominance in agriculture, their absence was not felt when they started their boycott after they were taught a lesson in Shasha, Ibadan. That's why they hired Yeye Bello and Fani Kayode to stage a fake "reconciliation" with Yorubas because they were losing money.

It's almost impossible to enter into a Family in Imo and not get a PhD holder.

Imo might just be retaining the top spot for 7more years if not for ever.

It's just so painful that we have not been blessed with visionary leaders.

A state with such maximum high level of man power, should be in the forefront of development in every sphere.

God bless Imo state
God bless Ala Igbo

Oga I don't know the validity of this information but no state competes with Imo state in terms of literacy level.

During Owelle rochas tenure,if you do not send you child to school you might be arrested and prosecuted.

This is the reason most data in Nigeria is unbelievable & unacceptable and this one isn't exception.
You can't just sip wine/tea or smoke weed and make an estimation or create data without following data collection procedure. Your claim on having PhD holder in almost every home in your state is a good example of how many people reason up head without consulting authentic sources.
In the most recent data for the second quarter of 2020, the number of PhD holders has increased to 76,526 in Nigeria.

We dominate you in politics, you wail and complain of marginalization.
You want us to dominate you in education again so that you can wail and complain louder?
By the time we react by stopping all trucks heading to east at Niger Bridge, hope you will not complain of genocide by starvation.

This is a derailment of the discuss at hand

ofcus everyone agrees that the high level of unemployment plunging this country is at its most alarming peak, that's one of the reasons I stressed the failings of leadership and governance.

A friend of mine asked me why Nigeria is so poor with the high level of intelligent people.

I told him our poverty is our own making, bcus when you do not make use of human resources which is the first level to development and riches in a Social enclave, you are on the fast road to unemployment and poverty.

after typing I stopped back to pick a fine point from your submission, so I had to edit.

why should you be unemployed when you can create wealth. I met one young man of 25 who came for interview to manage my small business in web and IT. So after my interview with the young man I figured out dat he was carrying a certificate good enough, but all he needed to excel was inside of him. I didn't give him the Job though, but I gave him a book which I believe will be of beneficiary to him. One of our downfall is and has always been initiative and wealth creation,we unfortunately have more people looking for jobs, than the creating jobs. Now that's a big problem

Thank you anyways. I like to chat with people who have their thinking caps on.
