My sis first utme was at Festac from Ijegun side of Lagos. Exam time was 6:30am, I had 5o leave home by 4:30 so she won't be late. This was the first cbt utme by jamb, no sane parents go leave their ward go through such. Also, poor planning of some centres delay candidates unnecessarily for hours, not everyone allows their kids to move freely as they want at that age/stage.

I understand this. There's nothing wrong in taking someone to the exam venue, but must parents/guardians enter the venue even if they want to wait around? To do what exactly?

Remember that year of pencil and paper wey them go send you paper type A like the night before the exam say make you shade am even if your paper type na C for the exam.. lol

Ah that year na phone we dey use o. You for don make arrangement with your supplier. Then you will head to the school to bribe a teacher there to help you hold it till the next day. Just give the teacher like 5k, he go do clean job for you. Use paper tape write your name for the back of the phone and your examination number. The next day during exam time, the teacher who is a staff and member of the internal monitoring committee will smartly locate your class with your exam number and use style to pass the phone to you. Make sure the external jamb officials dont catch you else you're in trouble but some of them jasi sha na money everybody dey find so if they nab you just settle them with something. Remember to put the phone on silent the day before sha. Immediately you on am like this , your supplier for don do his own job the previous night or that early morning. messages go just dey enter, you tick and hope for the best.

PPT sweet those years sha between 2000-2011. You go just dey see different characters for the exam Hall.

Since 14 year old kids are now registering for JAMB nah!

You don't want parents to take their babies to register, guide and even arrange the exam for them?

Back when you must be at least 18 years to be in SS3. Wetin concern your parents with JAMB form. All you have to do is listen for when JAMB will be out ( usually from friends), go to mum or daddy and ask for money to buy JAMB form, go to the nearest secondary school of the town you want to write the exam and fight to get your JAMB form (I remember mine at Sari Iganmu High School, Orile),fill and submit.

It wasn't for kids!!!

I don't support such. I'd rather find a place to hang around. Although some venues like schools have big enough compound to accommodate people with them not loitering around the exam hall. Myself, I get irritated at seeing people walking about while in exam condition.

I don't support parent entering exam hall for any reason but planing and preparation of jamb is also poor which necessitate parent to take their wards to exam center.
In this 21century .

No parent want to wait for their child to reach 18 before seeking for an admission which equally contribute to parent presence at various centers.

TECHNOLOGY HAS GONE PAST THAT LEVEL.

Even Ielts, toefl, GRE didn't consider remote exam. Now you want jamb to allow Candidate to write exam from home knowing the highest level of malpractice in Nigeria. The interested stakeholder of jamb examination are more than ordinary University entrance exam. All the education consult flying around thrive on malpractices. Let WAEC, Neco and Nabteb implement the kind of securities jamb have, you would see that education consults would reduce drastically. In summary, different kind of malpractices developed by candidates, parents, teachers and education consults made jamb registration process complex.

Our educational system is just mounting unnecessary obstacles on the platform for the children, what has the age got to do with it? some parents are coming over to make sure there are no distraction and to motivate their Ward is there any problem in that?, just mandate all the center to get provision for such guardians that's all.
