Avoid northern states especially Kaduna, Zamfara, katsina and Borno states and worry less about your peace of mind

Students moving to Ghana has less to do with security, and more to do with the number of spaces for students intending to go to university not being enough...which is partly why government encouraged the establishment of private universities in the first place....

Then there is the lack of things like a criminal database, and CCTV , and suchlike.

The kidnappers didn't mistakenly attack the school and abduct the poor students. This sort of information (the fees) is public not confidential. The kidnappers attacked them because they believe their parents and loved ones can be forced to cough up hundreds of millions of naira collectively.

Based on the current economy, what it takes to run a private University, and other schools around , 350k is affordable

Let assumed 40 students were kidnapped.

Let assumed the all paid equal amounts has school fees (#400,000 per head).

[b]Now we have 40×40,000 = 16,000,000

Let also assumed they are all in final year (100L-400L which is 4years), we now have
16,000,000×4= 64,000,000

#64,000,000 paid has school fees and the bandits sorry I mean terrorist are now demanding for #800m has a ransom, nooo nooo nooo nooo nooooo.

I don't think the whole school structures worth #1.5b.

How do we get here as a nation?
Govt has failed us
Crime are increasing everyday
No place is even safe
