What is termed correctional centers in Nigeria is not fit for a dog that has gone mad to stay, let alone, human beings. It is an eyesore to behold.

The people in those places are humans and should be treated as such. How do you correct someone's reasoning by maltreating the person and making them go through pains all in the name of correction?
If they were able to think correctly for themselves, would they have committed crimes?

Nobody likes commiting crimes. Crimes are most times committed when a person is broken. Think about it.

A correctional center should be a place of love and growth via education.

People should not be treated as animals. We are all humans.

Also worthy of note, is that, the children of elites or the so called elites themselves also commit crimes but they are not subjected to this form of treatment. Rather, they are well taken care of or better still, they use money to win over the case. It is too bad.

People are now wise.

Are we really educated?[/quote]
We are really uncivilised!
There are no institutions, there is no rule of law - just impunity. There's no hope!

Are we going to continue like this? Are we not going, to try, to do something to change the status quo?

We should. But the unemployed youth who should be the vanguard of change are unto a "good" thing with fraud. They are too busy making money to care. Money is the new "god" of Nigerians.
