On coming back, she had already gotten to Akure,then she highlighted a taxi which contained 3men , two at the back( probably Hausa or Fulani) we don't kwow ,then the driver which was definitely a yoruba.then she exchange few conversations with the men,giving them direction to a place.

She became suspicious because the man didn't pick anybody else ,even though they were going the same way....just few minutes, drive the driver told my mom that the Hausa guys r money exchangers ,and they are willing to give her tfare for her good gesture which my mom refused... The driver later told her if she can follow them to the location, promising to give her some dollars.

She told them she needed to drop house key in her shop that they should wait just for a min, got down and went to a random shop ,immediately she told some guys the situation but those guys weren't smart ,they just went straight to the car.The driver saw them coming zoomed off immediately......

I really thank God ......Guys pls be careful and vigilante out there.

You can be very smart but this people are always very diabolical.

All those stories about people clearing their accounts, selling out properties on emergencies, borrowing everywhere just to raise money in few hours ,na them!!!!

They are not kidnappers, they are fraudster. They usually use the trick to swindle their victims of their belongings without using force. Luckily, the jazz didn't work on your mum.

wow we lost over 100k cash and almost 300k pos withdrawal more than 400k lost, bank said they can't do anything about the pos transactions since the person had the ATM Pin, you see these people eehh what will befall them is only God knows, I don't pity yahoo boys that gets crushed with their ill gotten vehicles

Had a similar experience so many years ago.
I will continue from where u stopped.
in my own case I followed them, the French made it look he missed his way.
He decided to sell the electronics he brought and I came in handy to help sell them after all Alaba international no far from me.
We boarded a bus going to Oshodi, when it was time to pay, the guy brought out 20 lira. I had to pay for the trip.
We dropped at Cele bust and three of us went to a place I can't even trace.
In my mind, I don hammer. I was thinking of the new shoes I go buy go school.
We got into a room and after settling down, I told the guy to bring out the electronics so that we could get moving.
Story enter the matter.
This is where I lost interest and I was praying for a bailout. The bailout came in a subtle way that I recognized it immediately the opportunity arose.

In the end he came up with him having drums of paper that when washed with a chemical and Omo, it will turn to money.

He did a sample and he brought out money from the Omo solution.
The problem was that he had run out of the chemical and the money he would have used was with the woman that he was trying to contact before he lost his way..

So, me and the third guy would raise money for the chemical.
The chemical was sold at the airport for 450k for a bottle and we needed 3 bottles to wash a drum of papers.

I promised to raise 1.5m from my dad's savings and after an oath, I was given 40 minutes to get the money.

I was so happy to leave that dingy room.
Na so I find my way out and went my way.

I may continue from here based a friend's experience.

The bottom line is that we just have to be very careful.
