I could solve majority of these questions when I was in the equivalent class, JSS 2.

Abi o, I'm yet to see what is hard in those questions. We no dull reach that level na. Besides those that were given the questions to solve then are far older than those that will solve the question now.

Thank you for the compliment. I wrote an article about life skills for 21st-century learners. I am a graduate of science education but I am pursuing another degree in English language and literature in a foreign university.
Well done sir, and u wish you success in all your endevour... Am a graduate of human anatomy. Really don't know what to do with my degree as thete are no jobs. Currently doing menial factory jobs(at night) and teaching jobs(during the day) to cater for my two younger ones that are studying medicine and nursing here in kano... I would have loved to go further in my education, but I have to consider my younger ones also since we don't have enough funds. I am all they have got as how parents are late... I still thank God sha.

I pity Google generation

You used to carry Google in your head

Exams, grading etc have been dumbed down

That's why a primary 7 graduate could lead companies, speak good English and require only on the job training. Today university graduates are unemployable

What percentage of people had access to schools of this caliber in 1946? Many graduates are leaving the country, the same "unemployable" graduates are getting jobs and research grants abroad because they can earn a living wage there.

Because many would rather work odd jobs or go into trades than work for an uncertain 20k a month we call these people "unemployable".

I'm really proud of you bro. You are a reliable and successful man. Funding the education of two siblings is not a piece of cake. Remember that success is not measured by the amount you have in your bank account or your material wealth, but it is based on the number of people you are helping with your resources. The Almighty God will reward you in due time, keep up the good work.

There is what we call "school curriculum". Have you compared them? Then, it was "Mongo Park discovered River Niger". Now it's "How many bytes make a giga byte?" Are you saying a student in 1946 can answer the second question? Don't compare apples with grapes.

Angle of elevation and depression is in new general mathematics 2

Go and check it

Just make sure the imperial units in those questions are converted to SI units

I think the school you teach has many poor students or their teachers are not putting in their best efforts

You've never learned that identifying the problem is a big part of the solution I guess

There's a difference between identifying and pointless whining, many Nigerians engage in the latter concerning this issue.

My question is, how does all this complex mathematics add a thing or two to humanity?

And before you come for my throat, I am an engineering graduate. So I am a don in mathematics.
