The UEFA Champions League final scheduled to take place on the 29th of May between Manchester City on their first ever Champions League final and Chelsea on our third. Whoever wins, it is going to be a historic final. In the spirit of the Champions League, here are three fun facts about this final.
1: Both finalists almost didn't make it to the Champions League. City faced a ban for breaching transfer guidelines and Chelsea only managed to make the top 4 when Leicester City messed up towards the end of last season.
2: Both teams were almost disqualified along with Real Madrid after they decided to break away from UEFA and the Champions League to create a European Super League next season. The Super league was later scraped.
3: The two clubs share the honor of been 'the most successful English Club of the last decade'. They jointly share the number one spot in England. The winner on Saturday will crown their 2011-2020 success with a befitting title to kickstart the new decade.

I really hope so. But any thing can happen! May the best team kawai. I will be happy for Man City if they win their first ever Champions League on their first ever final. I will be happy especially for Guardiola. But I am still all for Chelsea!
