you quote a comment to say what you don't know. An Aircraft Carrier can't go anywhere alone. It moves in a CSG (Carrier Strike Group), it acts as a base for the country operating it to launch multiple sorties.

The US has 11 aircraft carriers while the China can hardly boast of one.

The one being proposed by the Chinese military was an old frigate sold by the US to Australia that the Chinese ended up buying.

The Chinese are working to convert it to an aircraft carrier. Billions of dollars goes into building an aircraft carrier which the Chinese government are not financialy buoyant to fund.

The US is spending billions of dollars on its navy because each of its aircraft carrier is a potential nuclear weapon carier.

And for your information, each of those cariers can carry at least 70 B-2, F-35, F-22 at a time. The US wouldn't risk loosing it's precious air machines to substandard aircraft carrier.
