Jesus Christ said we are saved from Death and offered us Eternal life in its place. If Salvation had been from Sin, then the gift should have been Holiness/Perfection instead.

The sinners who are of the blood of Jacob...it was to them that Jesus Christ was sent, in order to save God's people.

Jesus Christ fullfilled the Old Covenant Law on their behalf by living a sinless righteous life on their behalf, then dying so that through the Impartation of His Righteousness and death, they are made free of their obligation to the Old Covenant Law and able to take on the easier yoke and light burden that He offered in place of their previously heavy burden and yoke.

The "condemnation of sin" is instead God's Judgement against man's sin of unbelief as laid down from Adam. So think instead in terms or a generational curse that we have been under, we gentiles in particular, since Adam. So it is not sin but instead a sentence placed on us by God and each life is lived waiting for the sentence to be carried out.
