For OSS, it's mostly four, plus extra slot for oil states.

Last year, the number was 6 because their was no list for 2020 due to corona. PTDF are gradually taking their focus to LSS, as the OSS is not sustainable.

In 3years time, they might cancel the OSS scheme.

Good morning fellas, my interview panel yesterday at PTDF tower abuja didn't ask for my professional membership. They were only interested in my MSc project and how it relate to oil and gas industry. I totally forget to call their attention to it but I have uploaded it on the Ptdf scholarship portal. Is there a chance they could have seen it on the portal?

Concerning the listing, what PTDF can't do, does not exist. You need extreme patience. But for the fact it's more than MTN, Total and Chevron and Shell combined, makes it worth the wait.

Oya(facts), it's better than Chevening, Commonwealth and Total abroad scholarship. Not combined this time around.

That's in the aspect of freedom, criteria and isolated competition based on the state level. Equal in par and surpass most in remuneration

What you said about competition is true. I checked my state from that link you posted earlier and there were only 4 girls out of the 20. I think there was a state with 10 awardees instead of 20. I was sha happy to see statistics, biochem and some other kin courses there. At least let me have hope with my Economics as I no do engineering
As at last year, there was no Commonwealth for msc for Nigerians.. only at phd level. But Commonwealth and Chevening na die. After requiring 2 years worth of work experience to apply, you'll still return to your fatherland for 2 years

As it stands, my main aim now is to get an interview with Google, Amazon, palantir, Goldman Sachs, Circus, Lexre, and most importantly Microsoft, to get a sponsored visa for a role as a software engineer.

If that delays(i'm very hopeful), I'll go for the sure banker scholarships, which are school specific scholarships that most people don't dig into.

Due to diversity, just chose a uni with a very low black populace, and apply. America has 4000 universities, and Nigerians have never applied for close to 2000.

Same in Europe, those nations uni with department-specific scholarships.

Get it, and secure my Japa plans. The power of leverage has brought me this far.

Yeah, but I don't have an MSC yet, which would increase my points. Besides, if one of the tech firms hires me, it's a direct route.

Also, considering the rejection in Canada now, the fastest route is to migrate to a European country that gives residence visas for up to a year, then apply to Canada. Your visa is 100%. Estonia, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Ireland, or even Asian countries(far cheaper with just 2m such as South Korea, India and Taiwan).

Apart from China and India, Nigeria has become the third most competitive applicants in Canada. As a said, it's always thoughts with leverage.
