Two daughters of a 78-year-old Benin woman have reportedly left the corpse of their mother to decompose in their apartment without telling anyone in the neighbourhood. The two sisters claimed that the Lord had instructed them not to inform anyone around about the death of their aged mother.

The decomposing corpse of their mother was later discovered in an apartment in Benin, Edo state capital.

The two sisters who are between the ages of 58-60, allowed the corpse of their mother to deteriorate in their Benin apartment instead of taking her to the mortuary 9 days after her death.
