Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday presided over a virtual meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Under the Nigerian Constitution, the vice president is the chairman of NEC.

The council’s meeting is held monthly to deliberate on the coordination of the economic planning efforts and economic programmes of the various levels of government.

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Minister of Finance, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and other government officials whose duties hinge on the economy.

At an emergency meeting on July 2, the council endorsed the 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP).

Presiding over rubbish and useless meetings... Ogun will destroy Nigeria and her leaders, God will punish their families and their children to come. They will never see peace all their life! Over 50 was killed and buried in mass grave in kaduna yesterday and no one is talking about it not to talk of doing anything to stop the killings of innocent southern kaduna christians. Killings has become so Normal that it's now a usual thing in this cursed useless and hopeless shit hole.... Both Nigerians and her leaders are wicked for not saying or doing anything about this killings. If it's one celebrity now that died you see people talking rubbish

Osibanjo and his Buhari should try and return Nigeria to where they met it in 2015 because things have gotten worse. Fuel was 87naira, 1Dollar 250 to Naira in 2015,the external borrowings wasn't big like we have now.
