Forget that nonsense that some foolish nairalnders often say. Ladies trained by a single mother is no different from those trained by those who are fortunate to have their dad alive while growing up. Everything depends on the lady u are marrying and not whether she grew up with her father and mother or only her mother. I've come to realize that, there's a huge difference from kids trained by both parents and kids trained by a single mother...

A girl trained by a single mother will lack some trainings from her father, especially on taking care of a man... since those weren't observed from how her mother handled her father...

E.g... My ex would ensure that the last food at home is kept for me... She'll rather not eat anything until I get home... And she never served my food without meat... Until the last scooping from the pot, there'd be meat to finish the last plate.... While my current girl doesn't understand that... She will eat equal meat with you... She ensures that you let her eat last since she's a girl...and believes as a man I am stronger than her and can stay hungry...She was trained by a single mother while my ex was trained by both parents...

Honestly I feel a strong concern for this. Reading so many heartbreaking stories on nairaland and Twitter about the toxicity of girls raised by single mother made me to raise this question . Is it advisable to marry a woman raised by a single mother ? Especially if her mother is divorced or separated.

Marry a girl not raised in the house of a single mum but raised in her grandmother's house:

1. They are wiser
2. They are good cooks
3. They are respectful
4. They love generously.

Disadvantage
If her grandma is poor and not strict she will may be spoilt by neighbours
If her grandma is with her grandpa raised her she will be a good to go girl.
