most of this pictures get as im be o, they don't look like the America I imagine of, looks like Ikeja or mainland to me... OP you sure say no be naija you still dey

You are very funny. Apart from good economy and organised society that is very serene, those places are like when you are walking on a street in VI, ikoyi and standard estate in Lekki.

The edge they have over Nigeria is no herdsmen, no police extortion etc but they have their own crime like mass shootings etc, to contend with.

Then of course, they have uninterrupted power supply. Just an organized society not heaven.
If Nigeria becomes an organised society, the migration will reduce except for normal migratory tendencies like a Canadian moving to Dubai or for education.

In secondary school we were taught the characteristics of living things and one of them is adaptation. As humans we have the ability to adapt to any new situation we find ourselves. Anyways, see me studying all my train route today. The clueless dude who couldn’t navigate the subway yesterday afternoon is now a pro at studying train routes. Lol

That is the major issue with people from upstate areas and down south face whenever they are in the big apple. They are so used to driving and getting around easily in their slow pace cities.

My humble self with UK and Europeanbackground find it easier to commute in NY than my mates who have been in the states for a quarter of a century.

My constant routine on landing at JFK.Hook up to the sky train straight to Jamaica Queens, deescalte to the train station and take the next available train to Penn Station in downtown. Connect NJ Transit or Amtrak depending on where I'm heading to in NJ which is either New Brunswick or New Milford.

My cousin and bro in law both are always amazed when I ring their bells how easy and convenient I always make their lives as they even hardly come to the train station not to talk of airport to pick me up..

{quote author=Tourist123 post=104473517]This is actually my first time to New York. I have been living in the New England region for quite some time now and my popular route is New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Today is my first time of leaving the New England area.
So my gist: After dropping from the bus, I had a tough time using the subway. The Address that the Airbnb host sent me was incomplete, the people I showed the address couldn’t make sense of the direction via Subway. Nevertheless, I entered the subway only to discover that I need a Metro Card to access the train. After wondering helplessly in the subway, a good Samaritan offered to use her card to give me the pass.
I entered the subway and started another round of rigmarole. The first train I entered took me to Manhattan, my Airbnb apartment is at Brooklyn.
I contacted the guy and after much explanation, I stopped at a particular train terminal and entered the right train in the proper direction. For the first time in my life I felt so clueless.[/quote]
